Our Commitment

Watch Room respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our community members to do the same. We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and respond promptly to valid takedown notices.

Important Notice

Watchroom is a community-based watch-together platform.

We do not host, upload, store, or stream any video content on our servers.

All video content accessed through Watchroom is:

  • Provided by third-party platforms, or
  • Accessed via user-directed external sources

Watchroom does not control, modify, or claim ownership over third-party content.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content accessible through Watch Room infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice. Your notice must include:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work

    Describe the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed

  2. Identification of the infringing material

    Provide the URL(s) or specific location of the content on our platform

  3. Your contact information

    Include your name, address, phone number, and email address

  4. Good faith statement

    A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized

  5. Accuracy statement

    A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

  6. Physical or electronic signature

    Your signature (typed name is acceptable for electronic notices)

Our Response Process

Review

We review all valid DMCA notices within 24-48 hours

Action

If valid, we remove or disable access to the content

Notification

We notify the affected user (if applicable)

Confirmation

We confirm completion to the copyright holder

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may file a counter-notification that includes:

  • Identification of the removed content and its previous location
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed in error
  • Your name, address, and phone number
  • Consent to jurisdiction of federal court in your district
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringers

Watch Room maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. We track and respond to all valid DMCA notices and take appropriate action against users who repeatedly violate copyright laws.

False Claims Warning

⚠️ Filing a false DMCA notice is perjury and may result in legal consequences. Only file a notice if you genuinely believe your copyright has been infringed.
